It is a Czech single-module MCB of a high quality, with short-circuit resistance up to 6 kA, suitable mostly for residential construction; our product with its prices is able to compete even with the products imported from Asia !!! |
The limiting miniature circuit breakers BONEGA® EV-6J have two different releases acting onto the switching mechanism:
1.) thermal over-current release for over-current protection, working with time lag |
|
2.) electromagnetic high-speed release with ejecting armature for immediate short-circuit protection |
They are suitable especially for common installation into switchboards and switching points of low-voltage end circuits. They are designed mostly for alternating current but they can be used also for direct current for which the reduction of short-circuit resistance by approx. about 20% has to be taken into account (because of a higher stress of contacts).
With their design as well as technical parameters, the miniature circuit breakers BONEGA® EV-6J conform to the present high world level.
They are marked with a logo with a trademark BONEGA®. It is a traditional brand since 1992 which shall be introduced to the markets worldwide. The name BONEGA® comes from the ESPERANTO language and in that language, BONEGA®means excellent, good. The abbreviation EV means economical and beneficial (an excellent price with excellent duality guaranteed by a three-year guarantee period).
The miniature circuit breakers are manufactured in accordance with a particular European standard CSN EN 60898, as amended. They are able to comply with any design requirements for arrangement of MCB´s with regard to the selectivity and requirements for individual characteristics B a C.
The MCB´s BONEGA® EV-6J offer their users more than 20 advantages
The miniature circuit breakers BONEGA® EV-6J can be mutually interconnected by means of single-pole to four-poles interconnecting reed (rack) strips.

Our Czech manufacture of electrical devices is famous for its high precision and a permanent looking-for innovations which contributed to a fact that we did not note any claim for our MCB´s in 2003
This series can highly compete even with the products imported from Asia !
With the width of only 77 mm, our MCB´s belong to the smallest ones over the world (thus, there is more space for conductors lining and connecting in the installation covered part of the switchboard). This property is to be assessed mainly when using those MCB´s in small plastic switchboards for apartments..
Input or output can be connected both onto the upper and lower terminals without impairing the function of the miniature circuit breaker in any way. Through this advantage, the mounting is easier and the distribution arrangements at the switchboards can be variable. |
The design of the electromagnetic high-speed release with ejecting armature for short-circuit protection has been solved so that it has not any adjustable element. Its characteristic is given by the cross-section of the copper wire of the coil, by number of threads and spring pre-stressing in the core. This solution thus excludes that our circuit breakers could change their presented value by a fall or shock.
The shock resistance is given by a very good bedding of the construction elements. As can be seen at the picture, the ejecting coil is seated at an imaginary "copper tub" which guarantees protection of the coil. If the circuit breaker falls down, the coil remains in the set-up direction. Furthermore, the "tub" excludes misalignment of the coil core, and thus the crossing thereof. Otherwise, the crossing could cause shutdown of this significant protective function of the circuit breaker.
The MCB has the protection IP 20 – with its design, the MCB protects against a dangerous touch by a finger or against foreign small objects
The high quality is given both by suitable materials and design, and by a thorough checkout of all the parameters at each circuit breaker:
The height of terminals conform to other following BONEGA® instruments, such as current protectors, module switches etc.
The cross-section 35 mm2 for solid conductor and the cross-section 25 mm2 for stranded conductor is stated for the range up to ln 40 A. The geometric cross-section of the terminal, however, is 50 mm2. You will appreciate the terminal cross-section of 35 mm 2 with all nominal values, when mounting any bigger cross-sections of the conductors which must be dimensioned for higher power inputs. You do not need to solve such problems by means of additional terminals on which the contact resistances could occur
New design of the terminals (made of one piece with double overlapping through which the screw goes - the possibility to break it when mounting is fully excluded and the possibility to strip the thread is essentially limited)
The clip terminals themselves have in their bottom part also the cross grooves which avoid the conductor to be taken out from the terminal because being tightened, the conductor sinks into the grooves. Simultaneously, the transmission area gets large thus the contact resistances are limited considerably.
The clip terminals are seated in the circuit-breaker casing so that the screws of the terminals cannot fall out from the circuit-breaker body, even if they are fully screwed out from the terminal. This advantage has been reached because the diameter of the hole at the plastic box (casing) for a screwdriver is less than the diameter of the screw head. The screw head has been modified both for cross and flat screwdrivers.
Deciding about the basic accessories as interconnecting of more miniature circuit breakers and protective switches BONEGA® or other electrical device is, we have considered if we shall use the reed (rack) or forked strips for terminals of our MCB´s and protective switches. After consultations with important domestic and foreign switchboard manufacturers we have explicitly decided to make the reed strips (the manufacturers in Europe abandon now the modish forked system of interconnecting strips because when tightening the screws, the forks can distend, thus the transmission area as well as current load rating is reduced). It concerns the copper interconnecting reed („rack“) strips with insulating material made of self-extinguishing ABS-VO ( ABS characteristics). The copper contacts (reeds) are located closed at the strip edges.
The main advantage of the reed (rack) strips is that the reed also
presses with the pressure (second) area of the terminal onto the put-in
conductor, thus it limits to the minimum any possible contact resistances,
caused by insufficient transmission area at the forked strips (the forks can
distend to sides, when tightening the screws). The connection cannot "burn-out"
and the interconnecting miniature circuit breakers and protective switches
cannot be damaged
Other significant advantages of the reed strips used at our miniature circuit breakers BONEGA® EV-6J:
The height seating of the terminal enables two reed (rack) interconnecting strips to be put in opposite to each other and reaches double transmission load rating. The interconnecting strips, supplied by our company, have a contact - reed with dimensions 4 x 12 mm, the strip cross-section is 16 mm2.
The current load capacity of such a strip with power supply away from the strip edge is 80 A, with two interconnected strips located in opposite up to 160 A; if the power supply is in the centre of the strip, the current load rating amounts to 130 A, with two interconnected strips located in opposite even up to 260 A !
The miniature circuit breakers are intended to be attached onto the DIN strip EN 50 022 (width - 35 mm, thickness 0,8 - 2 mm). At European market, there are the DIN strips with higher dimension tolerances available. Our more variable design of the pawl has been fitted to those strips (also, it can correspond also with less exact performance of the DIN strips).
We supply both coloured levers in accordance with the nominal current values (corresponding to the marking of turn fuses) and black levers.
The lever can be sealed because of openings in both guiding sidewalls of the switch-off lever. Through these openings, a sealing wire can be fed. This sealing wire passes also through a groove on the movable lever. This groove has been engraved in both positions (OFF and ON positions) and it disables the motion of the lever itself. If the lever is sealed in the ON position, the immobility does not render the function of the circuit breaker impossible, i.e. in the event of a short-circuit or overload the circuit will be shut-down (independently on the fixed positron of the lever)
On its bottom side, every circuit breaker is stamped by signs describing the characteristics, nominal current value, month of manufacture (since the beginning of the production) and the number of the individual worker who has assembled the product. In this way, the traceability in the event of any claims is secured and the workers are motivated to bear their liability for their labour.
Because of this advantage, these circuit breakers can be offered at the American market.
Quick and flexible adaptation of the production to the customers´ requirements – a simple process with simultaneous manufacture of several types. We prepare new checkout equipment controlled by the computer, which enables a significant increase of our production capacity. |
The cases are intended for 12 modules so there are either 12 pcs. single-pole miniature circuit breakers, 6 pcs. two-poles miniature circuit breakers, 4 pcs. three-pole miniature circuit breakers or three pcs. four-pole miniature circuit breakers in one case (total weight of circuit breakers in one case amounts to approx. 1,3 kg).
Exact MCB´s weights – see Terms of Delivery – information on transport for Circuit Protection Devicess
If there is only one miniature circuit breaker type in the case, one side of the case is bar code labeled (see Fig. on the left side) describing especially the type, characteristics, nominal current value and number of pieces.
If there are more types in one case, types and number of pieces are
marked on the label (see Fig. on the right side) - to be added
manually, when packing. We are sure you will appreciate this type of packing
not only on collection of the delivered goods, but even when being mounted at
site.
This advantage is given both by available stock of the most asked types and by the fact that the products are manufactured at the premises of our company. This enables a good and immediate communication between the manufacture and sales departments. For fast deliveries, we use mainly the service of so-called PROFI-BALÍK (PARCEL). This system delivers the parcel to your address mostly within 24 hours and for very good prices.
For example, a delivery of the miniature circuit breakers at the rate of 23.000 CZK excl. VAT with the total weight of approx. 30 kg from Sudomerice nad Moravou to the town of As (about 500 km) with the system of PROFI-BALÍK amounts only to CZK 65,00; i.e. it loads the sale price with only 0,28% cost value (see detailed price list - link: left scroll-on- "how to buy").
